I have been down this week with a cold/sinus infection/sinus pressure migraine. [ugh!] Now that I am feeling better [though still snotty] I can get back to sewing and cleaning house.
I finished this quilt up at the end of January. [That makes two quilts in January for those keeping score at home :)] I used a pattern called Sugar Dish and used a jelly roll of Just Wing It. I especially love those Dresden Plates in the middle. This pattern had me applique-ing for the first time and it went pretty darn well.
I straight line quilted it using a lattice crosshatch pattern at the top and bottom. I am still deciding if I want to go back and hand quilt an echo pattern around the Dresden Plates. That would require me getting off my butt and actually doing it though!
For the back I used up some fabric from my stash that I have always rather liked but I don't remember who made it, though I think Westminster may be the manufacturer.
