Well this week I finished an adorable zig zag quilt.
Since I don't have any particular owner or receiver of this quilt I decided to post it on Etsy and see what happens. I really like the fabrics especially some of the subtle images within the fabric. There are turtles eating apples and little hedgehogs and an adorable yellow peacoat.
Check out my flickr for a bunch more pictures of this quilt.
The quilt is posted on my etsy store if you or some one you know wants to purchase it. :)

New Year New Look
The blog got a bit of an update yesterday. I have started using the name 'Brittney Selby Quilting' for all of my internet stuffs that have to do with my quilting/future products. I added a blog header that I made and added badges for all of the quilt alongs that I have/am participating in. I also added a badge for my pinterest and etsy store.
I just set up the etsy store on Monday and right now there is nothing listed for sale. Right now I am deciding what I already have made that I can part with and doing a bit of research for pricing.
Because I need another project to start I have cut my fabrics for the Sparkle QAL and I am using the Outfoxed fabrics that I got for Christmas. I love those adorable hedgehogs and wacky foxes. If you want to know more about the Sparkle QAL then click the badge over on the right.
I am also finishing up two quilts that I should blog about soon. :)

Conundrum
Welcome to January (well for another week at least) where the ideas flow much faster than the sewing machine can stitch.
I have oh around 15 different quilt project ideas and enough fabric to finish them all...gotta love Christmas! Right now I have 4 different quilts currently in progress. One to bind, one to quilt, one to sandwich and one to finish the top. Then I have 11 more with the fabrics and patterns picked that I just need enough time to sew.
The only conundrum with this is where are 15 more quilts going to go?!! I think a couple will be birthday presents and a couple can go to friend's future babies. But thats not going to solve the long term problem. I think this is the point where I become the quilt hoarder.
What to do? Should I sell them? Should I gift them? Should I donate them to Project Linus or another local charity? Let me know if you have any other ideas.
